背景资料: Anti-Alpha 1-Anti-Trypsin Antibody detects a1-Anti-Trypsin protein. a1-Anti-Trypsin is an inhibitor of serine proteases. Its primary target is elastase, but it also has a moderate affinity for plasmin and thrombin. Anti-Trypsin irreversibly inhibits trypsin, chymotrypsin and plasminogen activator. The aberrant form of Antitrypsin inhibits insulin-induced NO synthesis in platelets, decreases coagulation time and has proteolytic activity against insulin and plasmin. Defects in SERPINA1 are the cause emphysema, liver cirrhosis and liver failure. Environmental factors, particularly cigarette smoking, greatly increase the risk of emphysema at an earlier age. Anti-Alpha-1-Anti-Trypsin Antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Cell Signaling, Signal Transduction and Cancer research.

免疫原: Alpha-1-Anti-Trypsin Antibody was produced by repeated immunizations with native a1-Anti-Trypsin protein from human plasma.

保存建议: Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 µL). To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 µL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
