背景资料: Pancortin, a member of a diverse family of secreted glycoproteins, is implicated in the development of the nervous system, and the glaucoma-associated protein myocilin. Studies suggest that Pancortin-2 interact with WAVE1 in a novel cell death cascade in adult, but not embryonic, cerebral cortical neurons. Specifically pancortin-2 is a mediator of ischemia-induced apoptosis of neurons in the adult cerebral cortex, and functions in a novel mitrochondrial/actin associated protein complex that sequesters Bcl-xL. It is also involved in the generation of neural crest cells, and in neurogenesis.

免疫原: Pancortin Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region of human pancortin-1.

保存建议: Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
