背景资料: This gene encodes class I alcohol dehydrogenase, gammansubunit, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family.nMembers of this enzyme family metabolize a wide variety ofnsubstrates, including ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols,nhydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. Class I alcoholndehydrogenase, consisting of several homo- and heterodimers ofnalpha, beta, and gamma subunits, exhibits high activity for ethanolnoxidation and plays a major role in ethanol catabolism. Three genesnencoding alpha, beta and gamma subunits are tandemly organized in angenomic segment as a gene cluster.

免疫原: This ADH1C antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 231-260 amino acids from the Central region of human ADH1C.

保存建议: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
