背景资料: BCL2-antagonist of cell death protein; BCL2-binding protein; BCL2-binding component 6; BCL-X/BCL-2 binding protein. This protein is a member of the BCL-2 family. BCL-2 family members are known to be regulators of programmed cell death. It positively regulates cell apoptosis by forming heterodimers with BCL-xL and BCL-2, and reversing the death repressor activity. Proapoptotic activity of protein is regulated through its phosphorylation. Protein kinases AKT and MAP kinase, and protein phosphatase calcineurin were found to be involved in the regulation of this protein. Alternative splicing of the gene results in two transcript variants which encode the same isoform.

保存建议: BCAS2 antibody can be stored at 4˚C for short term (weeks). Long term storage should be at -20˚C. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
