背景资料: FUNCTION: Ras proteins bind GDP/GTP and possess intrinsic GTPase activity.

DISEASE: Defects in HRAS are also the cause of oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCC).

PTM: Palmitoylated by the ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex. A continuous cycle of de- and re-palmitoylation regulates rapid exchange between plasma membrane and Golgi.

SIMILARITY: Belongs to the small GTPase superfamily. Ras family.

ENZYME REGULATION: Alternate between an inactive form bound to GDP and an active form bound to GTP. Activated by a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor (GEF) and inactivated by a GTPase-activating protein (GAP).

保存建议: HRAS antibody can be stored at 4˚C for short term (weeks). Long term storage should be at -20˚C. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
