背景资料: FUNCTION: PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. Combines RNA-binding and PPIase activities. May be involved in muscle- and brain-specific processes.

CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: Peptidylproline (omega=180) = peptidylproline (omega=0).

SIMILARITY: Contains 1 RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain.

SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nuclear.

TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Found in all the examined tissues including heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas.

保存建议: PPIE antibody can be stored at 4˚C for short term (weeks). Long term storage should be at -20˚C. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
