背景资料: FUNCTION: Hydrolyzes the polyglutamate sidechains of pteroylpolyglutamates. Progressively removes γ-glutamyl residues from pteroylpoly-γ-glutamate to yield pteroyl-α-glutamate (folic acid) and free glutamate. May play an important role in the bioavailability of dietary pteroylpolyglutamates and in the metabolism of pteroylpolyglutamates and antifolates.

CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: Hydrolysis of a γ-glutamyl bond.

SIMILARITY: Belongs to the peptidase C26 family.

保存建议: GGH antibody can be stored at 4˚C for short term (weeks). Long term storage should be at -20˚C. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
